Connecting Local Business Leaders in Albany

Earlier this fall, NYSBC hosted the Albany Business Social at Nine Pin Cider, bringing together local business owners from across the Capital Region for an evening of connection and conversation. The informal gathering created space for relationship-building and thoughtful discussion about the role businesses play in supporting strong communities and responsible economic growth.

The Albany Business Social was held in conjunction with the American Sustainable Business Network’s Business, Policy and Purpose Conference, helping link local perspectives to broader national policy conversations. We were also pleased to welcome Assemblymember Gabriella A. Romero, who joined the event to engage directly with business owners and learn more about the priorities shaping Albany’s business community.

Local-level gatherings, whether in-person or virtual, remain essential. Face-to-face conversations allow for more meaningful connections and help ground our policy work in the real experiences, priorities, and challenges facing small and independent businesses.

NYSBC looks forward to continuing to convene business leaders across New York through future events and partnerships that support equity, sustainability, and a resilient economy.
